Autumn is a very popular wedding season and with good reason!
Fall colors make a beautiful backdrop for the picture-perfect
wedding. There are a variety of autumn color schemes to
choose from so you should have some idea before you start
shopping of what you want your color palette to be.
Primary Color Scheme
Once you’ve decided on an autumn wedding, you should
brainstorm ideas for the theme of your wedding and then
choose your primary color scheme. For example, if you choose
a nature theme, then you want to use colors inspired by
nature. A theme will help give your wedding a consistent
image and will help you pick out your colors and decorations.
You want your color scheme to be consistent throughout
your entire wedding to create a harmonious setting. When
you’re picking out the colors for your wedding, consider
the bridal party’s dresses and bouquets as well as
the decorations for the alter and reception area. You will
want to use colors that work well together and should use
these colors as accents in the outfits of the people in
the wedding party and in the decorations. The bridesmaids’
outfits, the groomsmen’s outfits, the flowers and
the decorations should all be coordinated to reflect your
color scheme.
Once you know what colors you want to use, you should find
swatches and photographs to use as a reference when you
go shopping. Having your colors picked out and your swatches
handy will be an enormous help when you’re shopping
and will ensure that your wedding is as beautiful as you
imagine. Make sure you shop around and shop early to find
the perfect items for your wedding. Arranging sample tables
and bouquets will help you visualize what the wedding day
will look like.
The perfect wedding wasn’t built in a day! You are
going to need plenty of time to plan and prepare. There
are invitations to send, wedding showers to plan, seating
assignments to arrange, vows to write and dresses to fit.
Don’t forget the wedding cake! Schedule to meet with
your baker early to design your cake and arrange a delivery
or pickup. You want your wedding day to be as stress-free
as possible, so give yourself plenty of time in advance
to make sure all the details are perfect. Think about how
you want your wedding to look, research in magazines or
online and shop around to get an idea of what is available.
Probably the most important thing in the wedding is going
to be the bride’s wedding dress. The bride is going
to be the center of attention so she needs to have the perfect
dress accented by the perfect diamond promise ring. Of course
the groom won’t get to see her gorgeous gown until
she walks down the aisle so it’s up to you to pick
